Bank Vole
In this captivating video filmed at Itchen Valley County Park in February 2026, we see a small bank vole, a species known for its agility and quick movements.
After spending what seemed like hours attempting to capture a picture of this elusive creature i decided to film him instead,....the patience paid off
The video showcases the vole's charming behavior in its natural habitat. Bank voles are typically found in wooded grassland areas, where they feed on a variety of plants and seeds. Their secretive nature and swift actions make them a delightful challenge to observe and photograph.
Bird Chorus
The enchanting sounds of nature you can hear in this video is the beautiful melody of birds singing in the country park.
i wanted to highlight how hidden among the trees they were. To capture them took a lot of patience and moving aroud to different spots .......and being very still!!
Even when I'n not taking their photos, I love to sit and listen to them for a while.
